Steering Column Adjustment Memory

On vehicles equipped with seat memory, respective steering column adjustment can be saved with the seat position. Three different seat recall positions exist for driver and front passenger seats using memory buttons located in front door switch assembly. When storing seat position for driver's seat, position of outside mirrors and steering column are also stored. The system works with the ignition switched on or off. To store steering column position in memory, perform following:

• Adjust seat position.
• Adjust steering wheel.
• Adjust mirrors.
• Simultaneously press and hold the memory button and one of the three numbered recall buttons for at one second or more.
• Release the buttons.
