Electronic Stabilization Program Sensor Unit: Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, with special attention to the following:

-- Calibrate the transverse acceleration sensor

-- Calibrate the longitudinal acceleration sensor (only on AWD vehicles)

Use the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 B or VAS 5052.

-- Under chassis

-- Brake system (Repair Group 01; 45)

-- 01- On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

-- 03- Brake electronics ABS/ESP Mark 60

-- Calibrate the transverse acceleration sensor

-- Calibrate the longitudinal acceleration sensor (only on AWD vehicles) or

-- Perform the ESP driving and system tests.

Use the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 B or VAS 5052.

-- Under chassis

-- Brake system (Repair Group 01; 45)

-- 01- On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

-- 03- Brake electronics ABS/ESP Mark 60

-- J104- ABS/ASR/ESP Control Module, Functions
