Wheel Alignment Work Sequence
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Audi S4, 2004 Audi A4, 2003 Audi A4, and 2002 Audi A4. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
See PRELIMINARY CHECKS before starting wheel alignment. Perform wheel alignment in this order:
- Check and adjust (if necessary) front axle camber.
- Check and adjust (if necessary) rear axle camber.
- Check and adjust (if necessary) rear axle toe.
- If necessary, check profile of front axle toe-in curve (toe constant "S").
- Check and adjust (if necessary) front axle toe for vehicle curb weight.
CAUTION:
If adjustments have been made on the suspension, a zero adjustment of the steering angle sensor must be performed. This is performed using VW factory scan tool (VAS 5051), or equivalent aftermarket scan tool.
