-- Remove selector mechanism function unit. Refer to SHIFT MECHANISM FUNCTION UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Push the rubber grommet -arrow- forward and out of the function unit.

-- Remove the hooks -1 and 2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Pull the lower section -1- of the selector mechanism function unit slightly toward the rear and remove the bolts -arrows- from the centering bracket -2-.
