External Multimedia Device Interface, Removing And Installing: Removing:

-- If the control module is replaced, select the "Replacement" function for the appropriate control module in "Guided Fault Finding"  .

Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester to do this.

Perform the Following Steps:

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.

-- Open the glove compartment and pull the lever in the direction of -arrow A-. This lowers the installation frame with the external multimedia device interface in the direction of -arrow-.

-- Insert the Radio Removal Tool: T10057  into the openings -arrows- until it locks into place.

-- Push the tool in direction -A- and remove the control module in the direction of -arrow B-.

-- Remove the connector -A- from the control module -arrow-.
