Wiper Frame With Linkage And Windshield Wiper Motor -V-, Removing: Removing

CAUTION:

When connecting battery, always perform work procedure as described in repair manual. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING . Failure to follow the sequence can trigger the battery cut-off relay and damage the electrical equipment.
Observe notes for threaded connections of battery terminals. Refer to BATTERY POST/TERMINAL .

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the wiper arm. Refer to WIPER ARMS, REMOVING .

-- Remove the plenum chamber cover. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER BULKHEAD .

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Open the wire holder -2- and remove the wire.

-- Unclip the connector -3- from its bracket on the wiper frame.

-- Remove the 4 bolts -1- and the wiper frame with the linkage from the plenum chamber. Be careful of the of different lines still connected.

-- Unlock and disconnect the connector from the wiper motor and remove the wiper frame and linkage.

NOTE:

If Wiper Motor Control Module -J400- or Windshield Wiper Motor -V- is replaced, Wiper Motor Control Module -J400- must be coded. Refer to Wiper Motor Control Module -J400-, CODING .
