Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera -R242-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

Component location. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SENSORS AND CONTROL MODULES IN CENTER SECTION OF VEHICLE .

-- Unclip the cover -1- with the clip release lever from the : VAS6845 in direction of -arrows A, B, C- by carefully inserting the clip release lever between the windshield and the cover.

-- Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.

-- Disengage the front cover and remove toward the rear.

-- Free up and disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Release the retainers -1 and 4- and remove the lens -3- forward from the mount in direction of -arrow-.

-- Push the clip -5- toward the vehicle interior -arrow- and guide the support -6- for the driver assistance systems front camera -1- downward and out the mount -7-.

-- Remove the driver assistance systems front camera to the right from the retaining plate mount -2-.

-- Release the connector -3- and antenna wire -4- and disconnect.
