DTC Memory, Checking

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2021 Audi e-tron Quattro and 2019 Audi e-tron Quattro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:

Alternative to the ODIS procedures "DTC memory: read out", "Transport mode: deactivate", "Service interval display: reset", "Vehicle transport mode: deactivate", "Battery: read condition" and "ERA-Glonass: check emergency call function ", the test program Full pre-delivery inspection  can be performed.

At the end of the Full pre-delivery inspection  test program, there is a summary to compare with the maintenance table and the maintenance items can be checked off.

Procedure:

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER, CONNECTING .

-- Select Diagnostic  mode and start the diagnosis.

-- Perform the vehicle identification.

-- Set and press Accept  to select "Work with Guided Fault Finding"  .

The control module identification and checking the DTC memory occurs next. Observe the instructions and test conditions.

-- Switch to the "Control modules" tab and open the "DTC memory list" to view all of the stored DTC memory entries.

-- Correct any relevant errors and erase the DTC memory.

NOTE:

After properly exiting the Guided Fault Finding, the DTC memory is automatically erased.
