Sensor Electronics Control Module -J849-, Removing And Installing: Installing

WARNING: Excessive shaking will damage the Sensor Electronics Control Module -J849-.

-- Install in reverse order of removal.

-- Mount the Sensor Electronics Control Module -J849- on the four bolts.

NOTE: Make sure it is installed in the correct position The connector faces the direction of travel.

When installing the Sensor Electronics Control Module -J849- -2- make sure it is correctly seated in its mounting and is free of stress.

Push the Sensor Electronics Control Module -J849- into position without using the bolts or using force.

NOTE: To install the Sensor Electronics Control Module -J849- free of tension, install all the nuts loosely and then tighten them diagonally.

-- Install all four nuts -1-.

-- Tighten all four nuts -1- to 9 Nm.

-- Connect the connector -3-.

Start the program in Guided Functions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester if the control module is replaced.

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester to the vehicle data link connector with the ignition switched off.

NOTE:

Switch the ignition on.

DTC memory interrogated, errors shown corrected and DTC memory erased.

-- Start the program in Guided Functions.
