- CHECK: Automatic Glow Time Control Module -J179- harness connector terminals 7 to Battery voltage.
- SPECIFIED VALUE: Battery voltage
- IGNITION: OFF

- CHECK: wiring for open, high resistance, short or electrical connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals
- REPAIR: faulty wiring or connector
- REPLACE: any open Fuses

- CHECK: The faulty Glow Plug -- (Per DTC Stored) harness connector terminal T11 / x to ground for resistance. Refer to the proper wiring diagram for terminal and connector location.
- SPECIFIED VALUE: 1.3 Ω (+/- 0.3 Ω at about 20° C).

- Final Procedure
- Perform a road test to verify repair.
- Do any DTC's return:

- Check the DTC memory. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC MODE 03 - READ DTC MEMORY

- Perform the diagnostic procedure for that DTC.
- FAULT RETURNS: no malfunction are detected in the wiring.
- REPLACE: Engine Control Module - J623-. Refer to proper repair information for removal and replace procedures.
