Heating Element Control Module 4 - Z166-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Equipped on some models: remove the trim panels for the multimedia system display unit. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM .

-- Unclip the backrest cover trim -1- using the : T10383/1 -arrows- and remove it.

-- Equipped on some models: remove the multimedia system display unit bracket. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM .

-- Move the reclining seat all the way forward and up and move the backrest into the upright position.

-- Move the footrest downward.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2-.

-- If equipped, unclip the connectors -arrows- from the backrest cover.

-- Loosen the upper backrest cover from the backrest and tip it upward, but do not remove it.

-- Disengage the rubber tabs -left arrows- for the cover at the tunnel side of the backrest frame.

-- Push the cover and cushion near the heating element control module slightly to the side.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- and remove the heating control module -2-.
