Compressor to Condenser Discharge Line: Removal

- 1.
Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Climate Control System General Information and Diagnostics .
- 2.
Remove the Right Hand(RH) headlamp assembly. Refer to Exterior Lighting .
- 3.NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Position aside turbocharger inlet tube. Loosen the clamp at the turbocharger inlet tube to air cleaner outlet pipe.
- Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
- 5.NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Loosen the ACL outlet pipe clamp and remove the Air Cleaner(ACL) outlet pipe.
- Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
- 6.NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Remove the compressor discharge fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.
- Discard the O-ring seal and gasket seal.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
- 7.NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Disconnect the compressor discharge line fitting nut and remove the line, disconnect the pressure transducer electrical connector.
- Discard the O-ring seal and gasket seal.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
- 8.NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Remove the condenser inlet fitting nut and remove the compressor-to-condenser discharge line.
- Discard the O-ring and gasket seals.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
