Windshield Projection Head Up Display Control Module -J898-, Calibrating

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required 

-- The windshield projection control module must be calibrated in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" using the Vehicle diagnostic tester if:

Procedure

-- Move the vehicle onto a secure flat surface.

-- Set the parking brake - the vehicle must not move during the measuring.

-- Fold down the left and right sun visors, disengage them and move them to the side.

-- Attach the VAS 6656 to the center retainers -1 and 2- for the sun visors.

Procedure 

-- Connect the vehicle diagnosis tester and in the mode "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" select the function windshield projection head up display control module -J898-. Refer to the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Follow the instructions in the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester display.

-- After calibrating the windshield projection control module successfully, end calibration, turn off the ignition and disconnect the diagnostic connector.
