Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-, Removing And Installing, Can: Removing

The Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- can only be removed once the convertible top hydraulic pump in the luggage compartment is moved.

-- Remove The Left Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel, refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the retaining bracket on the hydraulic pump and necessary connectors, refer to HYDRAULIC UNIT (HYDRAULIC PUMP), REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:

They hydraulic lines are not affected. Do not disconnect them.

-- Swivel the hydraulic pump in the luggage compartment.

-- Loosen the bolts -arrows- for the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -1- and swivel the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- to the side.

-- Remove the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -1-.
