Laser Distance Regulation Control Module -J1122-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

Vehicles without radiator shutter:

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

-- Remove the upper air guide. Refer to OVERVIEW - RADIATOR/RADIATOR FAN (2.0L) / OVERVIEW - RADIATOR/RADIATOR FAN (3.0L) .

Vehicles with radiator shutter:

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release the clamp on the washer fluid hose connecting piece -1-.

-- Remove the washer fluid hose from the washer nozzle -2-.

-- Remove the washer nozzle -2- on the cap -3- all the way forward from the radiator grille and hold it in this position.

-- Push the retaining tabs on the cap -3- apart in the direction of -A arrows-.

-- Remove the cap -3- from the washer nozzle -2- in the direction of -arrow B-

-- Clean and dry the laser distance regulation control module -2- near the connector -3-.

-- Release and disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the wiring harness bracket -1- from the laser distance regulation control module -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the laser distance regulation control module -2- toward the rear from the radiator grille.
