Driver Assistance Systems Control Module -J1121-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

-- Lay the carpet at the left front of the center console. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unclip the front seat mount from the vehicle floor. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT SEAT .

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.

-- Remove the rear emergency release cable -1- from the Driver Assistance Systems Control Module -J1121- bracket and place it aside.

-- Unclip the wiring harness from the impact guard -1- -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 4-.

-- Lift the Driver Assistance Systems Control Module -J1121- with the bracket -3- and impact guard -1- just until the connectors are accessible.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Loosen the clip -3- and remove the impact guard -4-.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -2-.

-- Remove the Driver Assistance Systems Control Module -J1121- -1-.
