Night Vision System Control Module -J853-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

-- Loosen the left front seat and, with the wires still attached, push it toward the rear. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT SEAT .

-- Remove the floor mat.

-- Remove the sill panel. Refer to SILL PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the footrest. Refer to FOOTREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disengage the carpet and push it aside.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- from the bracket -2-.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -3- from the Night Vision System Control Module -J853- -1-.

-- Remove the Night Vision System Control Module -J853- -1- with the bracket -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -3-.
