3. Transmission Range Indicator, Checking

Test step 3.1

• Drive ready mode is active

-- Select the drive positions "P", "R", "N" and "D/S" one after the other:

All drive position symbols in the Selector Lever Transmission Range Display -Y5- and in the instrument cluster must illuminate a steady white.

The respective drive position must be significantly brighter than the other drive position symbols.

Test step 3.2

• Drive ready mode is active

-- Select drive position "P" :

The P symbol in the Selector Lever Transmission Range Display -Y5- must appear as a red function lamp.

It must not be illuminated in all other drive positions.
