Android Operating System Control Module -J1243-. REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Notes

The Android Operating System Control Module -J1243- is located under the right front seat on the floor panel.

If the Android Operating System Control Module -J1243- is replaced, the following process applies:

-- Connecting and switching on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Select and start the Diagnostic  operating mode.

-- Select the Test plan  tab.

-- Select the Select individual test  button and select the following tree structure consecutively:

• Diagnostic-capable systems
• 005F - Information Elektronics 1 - J794 (MIB 3)
• 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1, functions
• 078E - Android Operating System Control Module - J1243 - replacing

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
