Control Module/Digital Sound System Amplifier, Removing And Installing, Sedan: Notes

The Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- is installed in the rear right luggage compartment.

If the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- is replaced, then the following process applies:

-- Connecting and switching on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Switch the ignition on.

Procedure: Replacing the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-

-- Select and start the Diagnostic  operating mode.

-- Select the Test plan  tab.

-- Select the Select individual test  button and select the following tree structure consecutively:

• Diagnostic-capable systems
• 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794 (MIB 3)
• 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1, functions
• 0648 - Digital Sound System Control Module, replacing (J525)

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
