Night Vision System Camera -R212-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Notes
The Night Vision System Camera -R212- is located in the radiator grille.
Removing
-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.
-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to Front Bumper .
Vehicles before Product Improvement:
-- Remove the upper air duct. Refer to appropriate Cooling System article, Radiator/Radiator Fan; Overview - Radiator/Radiator Fan .
Continuation for All Vehicles:
-- Free up the wiring harness -3-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the camera with the retaining plate -1- from the radiator grille
-- Turn the camera until the clip is released and the washer fluid hose -2- can be removed.
-- If necessary, seal the washer fluid hose.
-- Guide out the camera upward. Pay attention that the spray nozzle is not damaged.
-- Disconnect the connector -4-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the camera -1- from the baseplate -2-.
