Removal & Installation (3-Series - Z3)

PCM is located in box in right rear of engine compartment. Remove PCM box cover. Disconnect electrical connector. Remove PCM. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure.

CAUTION: BMW 3-series vehicles utilize either a Bosch or Siemens PCM. PCMs cannot be interchanged.
