Throttle Position Sensor

The throttle valve potentiometer, or throttle position sensor, is used in place of a throttle position switch and has contacts for idle and wide open throttle. The potentiometer is not adjustable since the DME/Motronic control unit determines idle speed ignition timing (idle speed switching point) on its own.
