System Check
Check fuse No. 1 or 15 and 17. Ensure brakelight operation is correct. Brakelight bulbs must both work. Check clutch switch operation (if equipped). Ensure speedometer operates. Repair or replace components as necessary.

Testing information for 318i, 318is, 325i, 325iC and 325is is not available from the manufacturer.
