Defect Location

Number of fault code indicates pin assignments on DME/Motronic control unit. See PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS article. Malfunction may be caused by a problem near component, corresponding wiring harness or control unit itself. See appropriate FAULT CODE IDENTIFICATION  table under TROUBLE CODE DEFINITION.
