Throttle Position Sensor

The throttle valve potentiometer, or throttle position sensor, is used in place of a throttle position switch and has contacts for idle and wide open throttle. The potentiometer is not adjustable since the control unit determines idle speed ignition timing (idle speed switching point) on its own.
