Tire Pressure Monitor System REINITIALIZATION

  1. Set the tire pressure of all wheels to specification.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position, with engine off.
  3. Press and hold the reset button until the yellow indicator lamp in the instrument cluster comes on for a few seconds or the message "SET TIRE PRESSURE" appears in the Check Control display. See Fig 1.
  4. Drive vehicle. Initialization is automatically completed after a few minutes, with no additional feedback.
NOTE: If you are prompted to check the tire pressure shortly after a correction has been made, this indicates that the corrected values were not accurate. Check the inflation pressure again and make appropriate corrections.
