SITUATION

Distribution of the following tool will not be through the Automatic Tool Shipment Program. V-adapter test cable P/N 612 180 - 83 30 0 493 946, previously distributed through the automatic tool shipment program (B04 30 01 ), must be modified so that it may be utilized on current models.

The connector to be modified is the large connector on the right side of the picture.

The locating pin (1) must be removed. To do this, use a suitable pair of pliers. Carefully move the locating pin in the arrowed directions to remove the pin. Be very careful not to damage the connector pins.

Clean out any residual plastic so it cannot interfere with the operation of the test cable.
