SUBJECT

STVL/STVR Pressure Sensor Faults

SITUATION

The airbag warning lamp is illuminated, and pressure sensor control module faults are stored in either the STVL (Door satellite - Left) or STVR (Door satellite - Right). Typical fault codes are (left/right):

9676/96F6, 9673/96F3, 9672/96F2, 9662/96E2

CORRECTION

Carry out a short test and follow the DIS test plan. Correct any faults that are identified.

Update the vehicle using Program V20.0, or later version. Refer to SI B09 05 01 (Coding Individualization and Programming) Procedure B.
