CAUTION: Ensure utmost cleanliness. No dirt is allowed to enter the system.

Check all hose connections, pump and steering gear for leaks. Remove engine underguard. See 51 11 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE FRONT BUMPER (FROM 10/01) . Detach pressure line from pump and connect special tool (32 4 000). See USING SPECIAL TOOL (32 4 000) .
