System Monitoring Functions: Notes
The Crash Safety Module must execute the following system monitoring functions:
- System self-test (pre-drive check)
- Cyclic monitoring
- Indication of system operability
- Fault indication and fault storage
- Fault output (diagnosis)
- Battery-cable monitoring
- Seat belt reminder function
- Deactivation of passenger airbags
- E64 Convertible seat-back locking
