SITUATION

Distribution of the following tools will be through the Automatic Tool Shipment Program. Additional tools may be purchased through your PDC. Additional N54 tools will be offered  shortly. Watch for more group 04 bulletins.

Bearing Fixture

Order PN 83 30 0 495 739

Cartool PN 118 550

  1. Hold down tool
  2. Thumb screws (4 pieces)
  3. Thrust pieces (6 pieces)

Used to hold the camshaft bearings in place when fitting the camshaft. Refer to repair manual section 11 31 025.

Spark Plug Socket

Used to R & R the new style spark plugs.

It will be necessary to use a short impact extension between the socket 121 220 and the torque limiter 121 172. Do not use an extension with a swivel. Refer to repair manual section 12 12 011.
