61 14 ... Removing and installing/replacing engine compartment B+ terminal

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Read fault memory.
• Disconnect battery negative lead  (See 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD )

Remove cover (1).

Unscrew nuts (2).

Tightening torque 61 12 4AZ.  (See GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES article)

Disconnect battery positive leads (1).

Disconnect plug connection (3).

Release screw (4) and remove B+ terminal.
