Front Electronic Module (FEM)

The front electronic module (FEM) is connected via the K-CAN to the rear electronic module (REM). The front electronic module (FEM) is responsible for the convenience functions of the power window regulators. For this purpose, the remote control receiver is connected at the FEM via a local interconnect network bus.

All signals to control the power window regulators are sent from the front electronic module (FEM) to the K-CAN2.

The power window switches are supplied with power by the front electronic module (FEM) with the locator lighting (terminal 58g). The switch block in the driver's door is supplied with power via a local interconnect network bus with the locator lighting.
