Diesel particulate sensor: Notes

The diesel particulate sensor, which is installed in the exhaust system downstream of the SCR catalytic converter (e.g. F30), allows diagnosis of the diesel particulate filter. The function of the diesel particulate sensor is based on a resistance measurement.

NOTE: The installation location of the sensor depends on the exhaust system. Observe installation location by means of the wiring diagram!
