Fuel pump control module: Notes

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2017 BMW X3, 2016 BMW X3, 2015 BMW X3, 2014 BMW X3, and 2013 BMW X3. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The low-pressure fuel system varies depending on the equipment and country.

The electric fuel pump is now activated by the fuel pump control module. The fuel pump control module receives the activation signal from the Digital Engine Electronics (DME).

The fuel low-pressure sensor is omitted.

NOTE: The fuel pump control module is not a control unit.
Do not confuse the fuel pump control module with the control unit of the electronic fuel pump control module (EKPS).
The development code for the component is as follows: FPC = Fuel Pump Control.
