New diagnosis requests for engine control units: Notes

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2017 BMW X3, 2016 BMW X3, 2015 BMW X3, 2014 BMW X3, and 2013 BMW X3. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

For the following engine controls, the status requests have been simplified and enhanced from the F01 onwards:

Diesel engines: B37, B47, N47, N57
Petrol engines: B38, B48, N55, S55, N63, N63T, S63

All status requests are listed in a functional group and are grouped in number blocks. The status requests can thus be mixed in any combination and are identical for the specified engines.
