SUBJECT

Cruise Control does not Operate after Programming with ISTA/P 3.56.x

SITUATION

After programming the vehicle with ISTA/P 3.56.x (integration level F025-15-07-50x), cruise control cannot be activated. If the customer tries to activate cruise control, a Check Control message "System cannot be activated" is displayed.

CAUSE

This is caused by a software error in ISTA/P 3.56.x and is planned to be resolved with ISTA/P 3.56.2.

PROCEDURE

Until ISTA/P 3.56.2 becomes available, do not carry out any programming or coding to any of the affected vehicles.

In critical cases where programming and coding needs to be performed, please submit a PuMA case titled "F25 Cruise Control Error". Once we receive the PuMA case, we will provide you with further instructions.
