Seat Belts: Notes

Components have been added to the seat belt system. These include: - Seatbelt tensioners - End fitting tensioners (ECE driver) - Seatbelt inertia reel with linear force limiter (ECE) - Seatbelt inertia reel with adaptive force limiter (US) - Electrically motorized reel (Option).

The signals of the belt buckle switch go to the crash safety module and are used to activate the required restraint systems as well as for the visual/acoustic seat belt warning.
