SUBJECT
Service Action: Reprogram the DDE
SITUATION
The DDE calibration for readiness monitoring may be incorrect.
AFFECTED VEHICLES
This Service Action involves E70 vehicles with the M57Y diesel engine produced from August 10, 2010 to June 22, 2013.
Vehicles which require this Service Action to be completed will show it as "Open" when checked either in the "Service Menu" of DCSnet (Dealer Communication System) or with the Key Reader.
PROCEDURE
Program the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.49.3 or a more recent version.
Target integration level: E070-13-03-504
Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
