61 34... Removing and installing/replacing 12-V power socket

Special tools required: 

Check the equipment dependent sockets that are available.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Cup holder, front 

Release latch mechanism (1) and thread out LED (2).

Cup holder, front 

Use the special tool 61 0 250 to remove the power socket (1) from the center console trim.

Rear center console trim: 

Unlock connector (1) and thread out cable (2) for power socket.

Rear center console trim: 

Remove power socket (1) from the center console trim using special tool 61 0 250 .

See last operation.

Luggage compartment: 

Open flap in luggage compartment trim panel on right.

Put your hand behind the right luggage compartment wheel arch panel.

Detach connector (1) from power socket (2).

Luggage compartment: 

Fold up the protective cap over power socket (1).

Luggage compartment: 

Remove power socket (1) using special tool 61 0 250 .

Pull out 12-V power socket from housing with special tool 61 0 250 until connector is at bottom of light ring.
