DC/DC converter output current check: Notes

This service information describes a test procedure for the DC/DC converter in the electrical machine electronics (EME). The check must only be carried out if at least one of the following faults is stored in the EME:

• 0x222202
• 0x222205
• 0x222206
• 0x222207
• 0x22223F
• 0x222240
• 0x222279
• 0x22227B
• 0x222241
• 0x222B4C
• 0x222B6C
• 0x222B6E

The test procedure can be used to determine whether an internal DC/DC converter fault is present or whether troubleshooting has to be continued in the 12 V vehicle electrical system.
