Removing the cell module lid

Precondition 

The cell module must be put down on the workbench. The workbench must be clean and free from oils and shavings.

• Unclip lugs (1) with 2 298 505 and carefully remove the lid.

• Place the cover (1) from the scope of parts 8852867  on the cell module immediately after removing the lid.
• To prevent the lid from slipping, fix the lid with adhesive tape.

Check 

• Check the cell venting units for damage in the marked area.

Result 

» You can continue if the cell venting units are not damaged.

Measure

• If the cell venting units are damaged, the cell module must be replaced.
