Remove the telematics control module

Preliminary work 

• Refer to CARRYING OUT A SYSTEM CHECK OF THE TELEMATICS CONTROL MODULE EMERGENCY BATTERY .
• Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
• Refer to REMOVING THE REAR MIDDLE HEAD RESTRAINT .
• Refer to TRIM OF THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT .

• Loosen screw (1) 
• Loosen screw (2) 
• Unlock plug connection (3)  and disconnect
• Release the cable clip (4)

• Release the clips (1)  using the special tool 2 298 505 and position it as shown

• Lower the headliner (1)  to the marked points by maximum 20 mm
• Insert the screwdriver (2)

• Unlock the lock (1)  with the screwdriver (2) 
• Slide the telematics control module (3)  in the arrow direction and guide it out to the rear

• Unlock plug connections (1)  and disconnect
• Remove the telematics control module (2)
