Brake Indicator Control: Notes

With the ignition switch in Run, Bulb Test, or Start, voltage is applied through IGN 1-ISO fuse 18 to the brake indicator. The circuit is completed to ground to light the indicator when the ignition switch is in the bulb test or start position, this acts as a lamp test for the indicator. With the ignition switch in Run the brake indicator lights if current flows to ground through.

Note: When the brake lamp is inoperative always test the bulb first
