Code B333, Loss Of Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (Sir) Data: Notes

Code B333 will set if communication between DERM (SIR controller) and BCM is lost. When this code is set, ELECTRICAL PROBLEM and INFLATABLE RESTRAINT warning lights will illuminate.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.

Checks if other data line components are experiencing communications problems.
Checks status of data line at compass module. Normal data line voltage is .1-4.5 volts.
