Circuit Description

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 1993 Chevrolet Caprice, 1992 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser, 1992 Chevrolet Caprice, 1992 Buick Roadmaster, and 1991 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Keyless entry receiver applies voltage to circuit No. 1455. When keyless programming connector terminals "A" and "B" are shorted together, using a fused jumper, keyless entry receiver senses a voltage drop on circuit No. 1455. Keyless entry receiver then cycles all door lock motors once. Keyless entry receiver then waits for input from transmitter(s) or for fused jumper to be removed from keyless programming connector.
