The purpose of this bulletin is to advise retail and wholesale service personnel of labor operations and times that have been established for States/Provinces which have mandated an emissions inspection/maintenance program test.
These times were developed using procedures detailed in the Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) Emissions Diagnostic Manual, publication GM/95-IM240-2. These operations appear in current Labor Time Guides.
