SERVICE INFORMATION

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform all retail and wholesale service personnel of an enhancement to the use of the subject labor operations. Effective with repair orders dated on or after September 1, 1997, dealers are to be guided by the following:

The use of the subject labor operations is restricted to GM dealers that have purchased the Kent Moore 5 Gas Analyzer J 39982 (or received a waiver from GM), have trained technicians (GM Course Number 16004.10), and are located in an area that requires I/M 240 Emission Testing.

Only GM dealers matching these requirements are eligible to submit a warranty claim for payment.
