Additional Intermittent Checks
- Check PASS-Key II(R) decoder module harness connector at base of steering column, wiring and terminals. Check decoder module connector for bent pins.
- Check starter relay for correct lock mechanism and connections. Lightly tap decoder module to determine if module is intermittent. Manufacturer indicates an intermittent problem is not usually caused by decoder module.
